Microsemi Corporation, a manufacturer of semiconductor power, security, reliability and performance, today announced it has acquired Maxim Integrated Products's Clock Generation and Distribution business.
The product lines purchased from Maxim include:
- Clock Generation
- Clock Synchronization
- Oscillators
- Clock Distribution
Terms of the transaction were not released.
The acquired product lines and technology are used to deliver and synchronize data over wireless and wired networks.
