Ellen Hancock has resigned as President of Jazz Semiconductor.
Ellen Hancock has resigned as President of Jazz Semiconductor.
Jazz was acquired by blank-check firm Aquicor last September.
Hancock's duties will be assumed by Aquicor partner Gil Amelio, chairman and CEO of Jazz Semiconductor.
Hancock has stated that she has resigned in order to spend more time with her other business obligations, which include serving on the boards of Colgate-Palmolive, Electronic Data Systems and Aetna.
